Chicken Tenders, Sauces and More!

ree

When my family craves chicken wings and sauce, we skip the wings and make lightly breaded chicken tenders baked in the oven or air fried and grilled chicken legs! A great way to cut down on calories and still have the great flavor!

We often make all of the following sauces and use them for dipping. Although, they can also be brushed on meat and grilled too.

Classic Barbeque Sauce

1 ½ cups Heinz Ketchup

¾ cup brown sugar

½ cup white sugar

3TBS Wrights liquid smoke

½ cup chopped onion

½ cup water

1 heaping tsp. crushed red pepper

Mix all ingredients together and simmer for 15 minutes. Bast sauce on fuly cooked chicken on the grill, cook an additional 2-3 minutes. Can also be use as a dipping sauce.

Sriracha Glaze

½ cup ketchup

1/3 cup Sriracha hot sauce

5 tablespoons honey

1 tablespoon soy sauce

1 teaspoon olive oil

Whisk all ingredients together in a small bowl. Store covered, in refrigerator for up to 5 days. Makes ¾ cup.
